An operational programme has been outlined and financed by the European Union in order to create favourable conditions for the growth of the productivity of the Lithuanian enterprises. The scheme is open to companies active in multiple sectors of the economy.

The aim is to encourage international partnerships and networking by seeking for opportunities to participate in international EU research, experimental development and innovation initiatives and to establish contacts with international partners through the Enterprise Europe Network, thus increasing research and development in the Republic of Lithuania, export of R&D services and attracting possible foreign investment.
